Winterizing Your Home

Although the weather is sunny and blue skies, now is the best time to prevent some of the winter weather from intruding into your home. A few good tips to winterizing your home are re-caulking around the interior and exterior of your doors and windows. This is the best time because it allows the caulking proper time to dry so you can paint over it and it will protect water and moisture in the rainy seasons. Another good tip to home maintenance is cleaning or washing the exterior of your home. A light power washer will remove scum build up from the winter, i.e. moss, mildew, and dirt which will keep your home’s exterior lasting longer and looking better. Working on the exterior of your home is important to keep up just a little bit each year so you can work to catch problems early and saving you money!
   

 

 
 

Introduction

The founders of Oregon Trail Remodeling started their construction journey at a young age and they have gained much experience along the way. The company was founded by Jeremy Parsons and Marc Lisak. Both Jeremy and Marc have remodeled numerous properties over the years and since creating OTR they have helped many families create their dream homes.

Both Jeremy and Marc have learned what it takes to improve a home's look, value, and comfort while keeping the target budget in focus. Some contractors try to upsell to increase their profits. You won't find that practice when you deal with OTR because it's reputation has been built on a foundation of doing what is right for the customer and within the limits of the budget.

Little touches make sure that the project has minimal impact on the homes liveability. Kitchen Remodeling

We take special pride in our kitchen remodels as you can see from the pictures in our photo gallery. A typical Oregon Trail remodel involves updating the counters to granite or marble and the installation of new cabinets, sinks, fixtures, floors, appliances and windows. Kitchens are usually a priority for the woman of the house and we strive to make her happy and to make the kitchen a showplace.


Bathroom Remodeling

Bathrooms are telling about the age of a house and they can make a significant difference when selling a house. We have a track record of updating bathrooms and we can also make them senior friendly. This includes custom walk in showers, safety grab bars and wheel chair accessibility.

We have extensive experience in the design and construction of modern bathrooms which have state-of-the-art steam shower systems. We have also done total make-overs of bathrooms in older homes to enhance the value and saleabilty of the property.

Some companies use us exclusively for fire and water damage restorations when insurance claims are involved because of our consistent quality and fair pricing. We bill directly to the insurance companies using the most up-to-date Xactimate software which is the industry standard.

Bathroom cabinets and kitchen cabinets can easily be upgraded to five star living space with the addition of marble or granite counters. We have a lot of experience with these upgrades and we take great pride in the finished product. We can complete your countertop with a beautiful backslash and undermount sink.
